Information You Submit
Search Terms
When a name, location, or other detail is entered into a sponsored search box, that query is sent to the third-party provider that powers the tool. Grand County Inmate Population does not run that provider's database and does not keep a separate local log of those search terms.
Messages
If you email or otherwise contact the site, the message and contact details may be kept long enough to read, route, and reply. Contact messages are not shared outside the organization except when needed to handle the request, protect the site, or comply with a lawful order.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most websites, the site may receive routine technical data when a page loads. This helps measure performance, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and understand how visitors use Grand County inmate and jail-record resources.
- IP address and general network information.
- Browser name, browser version, and language settings.
- Device type, screen information, and operating system.
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on those pages.
- Referring website or search page, when one is passed along.
- Date and time stamps for visits and requests.

Outside Links
The site links to Grand County, Utah Courts, Utah Department of Corrections, VINELink, BOP, ICE, NCIC, and other outside resources. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination site's privacy policy and terms control that visit.
Advertising partners and sponsored search providers may use their own cookies or tracking systems. Their collection and use occur on their systems, not under the direct control of Grand County Inmate Population.
